This was an very rustic desk to put in nicely, but with a little elbow grease it became a desk full of character...

This clock was only 40 bucks on craigslist and after a few blisters...hahah..It is now one of my favorite pieces in my house

First Piece Accomplished!

The Ashleigh Armoire

We did it! Our first piece is done. I love this armoire with it's spindle detail and creamy color. With a bit of distressing and vintage hardware this piece is so sweet. Not to mention the amazing amount of storage! We had so much fun doing it, I hope you have just as much fun looking!

We are open!

I am so excited to be posting the first post for "The Modern Shed!" This new blog will be following the treasures that other people might call junk and making them into beauties! Keep an eye out for pieces you would love to have because they will all be for sale! Yup, I guess you can say we are open for business! These are two of the many pieces we will do. They might not look like much now but just wait until we put a little TLC into them.
